ABOUT US
SA Path is a leading pathology practice with a presence in the Western Cape, Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West. Dr Vuyolethu Keti is a chemical pathologist who founded SA Path in 2014. The practice has since grown to offer comprehensive pathology services, comprising clinical pathology, cytopathology, histopathology, and molecular testing, including COVID testing.
SA Path's aspirations are to contribute to making healthcare services accessible for all, the empowerment of patients through educating them of disease processes they encounter, thus helping them make informed choices in their management of disease.
Patient safety is at the core of what we do as we deliver patient-centred care in our service of both doctors and patients.

THE TEAM
Dr Vuyolethu Keti
MBChB, MSc, FCPath (Chem) SA
Dr Vuyolethu Keti is a chemical pathologist and director of SA Path. In 2000, Dr Keti obtained her undergraduate medical degree from the University of Pretoria. This was followed by an MSc in Clinical Biochemistry through King’s College in London. She further completed her training in Chemical Pathology in the UK and Western Cape from the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS).
She became a Fellow of the College of Pathologists through the Colleges of Medicine in South Africa in 2011. Prior to founding SA Path in 2014, she worked as Consultant Chemical Pathologist at the NHLS.
She enjoys numbers and continuous learning. She is passionate about justice, equality, and creating a kinder world.
Dr Lesiba Mogotlane
MBChB, FCPath, FRCPC (Anat Path)
Dr Lesiba Mogotlane is an expert histopathologist who obtained his undergraduate medical degree from the University of Natal in 1997. Dr Mogotlane has since 2003 been practising as a specialist anatomical pathologist. In 2005, he received additional training as a fellow of clinical research through the Institute of Cancer Research in London.
He worked as a histopathologist consultant in in the UK, then as a senior lecturer at the University of Cape Town. From 2010 to 2017, Dr Mogotlane worked at Pathcare. He joined SA Path in 2017. He has a particular interest in various pathology fields such as dermatopathology, breast pathology, gynaecological pathology, uropathology, and cytology. In addition, he is an avid trail runner and enjoys reading in his spare time.
